You're the ones who've obsessively pored over the 10,000 photos, the 30,000 text messages, and the 128,000 emails from my hacked iCloud and stolen devices.

If I am anything, I am prolific.

You know what you won't find? Any of the most heinous, hateful things you keep posting about me.

What you'll find from me here is the same thing you found there.

Total transparency. Finally on my terms. Not yours.

Guilt is what you should feel when you did something that wasn't right. Shame is the thing you carry that says you'll never be worthy of love again. I can't live in shame anymore.

I've benefited more from low expectations than anyone in the history of the world. Because as long as I don't show up smoking crack, naked, people are like, 'Oh my god.'

The one excuse I don't have for the troubles I've faced — in terms of addiction and substance abuse — is that I was extremely loved.

I didn't wake up one morning in a heroic form and say, 'I'm going to do this because I feel like I'm strong.' They did it to me, but it became literally my superpower. I can sit down with anybody.

I’ve taken a lot of hits, and I’ve deserved some of them. I beat myself up over them more than you can imagine.

But the grace people have shown me here is truly humbling.

Some of the kindest words have come from the people you’d least expect.

And for that I am so grateful.

This isn’t about me. It’s about every person in recovery who shows up and tries again.

And to everyone still in the fight tonight: you are not alone, I see you.

The single most important thing about any relationship you'd call love: availability, presence, being there. It doesn't mean you're going to solve anybody's problems — just showing up.
