South African television and radio journalist, and war correspondent
Lara Logan (born 29 March 1971) is a South African-born television and radio journalist and war correspondent. Logan began her career working for South African news organizations in the 1990s. Her reports concerning the American invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, led to her being hired as a correspondent for CBS News in 2002, eventually becoming Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent.
