Do not the most moving moments of our lives find us all without words?

One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter.

to become aware of the ineffable is to part company with words...the tangent to the curve of human experience lies beyond the limits of language. the world of things we perceive is but a veil. It’s flutter is music, its ornament science, but what it conceals is inscrutable. It’s silence remains unbroken; no words can carry it away. Sometimes we wish the world could cry and tell us about that which made it pregnant with fear — filling grandeur.
Sometimes we wish our own heart would speak of that which made it heavy with wonder.

Perhaps it is how we are made; perhaps words of truth reach us best through the heart, and stories and songs are the language of the heart

Sometimes words are not enough.

There's a communication that goes beyond the realm of words and we don't even need words to communicate, and when you do use words it just comes from our hearts, and we're offering entertainment.

Music is in the connection of human souls, speaking a language that needs no words.

He never even talked of love; but there are modes of making it more eloquent than language, and which convey it subtilely and irresistibly to the heart. The beam of the eye, the tone of voice, the thousand tendernesses which emanate from every word and look and action - these form the true eloquence of love, and can always be felt and understood, but never described.

Other than “the unanswerable question”… It’s the heart speaking, maybe that, maybe the human heart speaking.

Where words fail, music speaks.

Are there not many Arts which, though speechless, express their meanings with perfect adequacy, with satisfaction to the recipient, and serve at the same time as a medium of communication between soul and soul?
