Our potential should not be limited by where we are born, nor our dreams be diminished by our current circumstances.

My decision to work at the UN was driven by my need to uplift the lives of others the way I had been uplifted. When I moved to the UK, the images of Africa I saw on television did not align with my lived experience. I was galvanised to combat these entrenched misperceptions of the place where I was born and raised, the place I am proud to claim as my continent of origin.

My goal is to make the world a more beautiful place for women and young girls. You're either part of this or you are part of it.

I want to inspire African girls to follow their wildest dreams and fight for their space.

I am proud to join UN Women in their fight for the rights of women and girls all over Africa. I want to see the day when no parent makes a decision that will change and limit their daughters’ lives. The girls of Africa and worldwide need to know that their future is bigger than they imagine.

I've grown from being a young girl with dreams to a woman with a global vision. My talent is a platform for more things to come and everyday the Cuppy mission gets even bigger. I have the most supportive fans, friends and family rooting for me and I'm very determined not to let them down. Their love spurs me on and motivates me to keep pushing no matter how rough or tough things get.

I want to make young girls believe that all things are possible. You know they can do exactly or even better than what I'm doing right now. I'm not any super girl from one unique place. No, I'm a local girl from Ughelli. So if this local girl can do it, can come this far from nothing to become something, then you also can do it.

One passion that I have is helping young girls to be well-rounded individuals, helping them believe in themselves and their potentials while buttressing the points about the importance of the values that the family and educational system offer them. My mission is to create a world where we can live in harmony with nature. And can I do that alone? No. So there is a whole army of youth that can do it. So I suppose my mission is to reach as many of those young people as I can through my own efforts.

When we stand together, there is no limit to what we can achieve.
Three days ago, young people from many nations stood together in the balcony of this Hall. They asked for one thing above all: change.
There is nothing we can say to the world’s children that can convince them the world needs to be the way it is.
That means we must do everything we can to close the gap between the world as it is, and the world as it should be. That is the mission of the United Nations.

My dream is to save this youth and reach out to them. The world is beautiful, we must make it even more beautiful!

I want to leave a big legacy. Not only for Ivorian girls, but for all African girls. I want to show that they can do something big if they believe in themselves.

If I am not able to do anything for the young people and women of my nation, my story and journey should be an encouragement and inspiration that regardless of your background, you can make it.
