It`s been such a blessing and wonderful experience. I`ve seen personal growth and development in myself. It`s been a great opportunity especially the networking and charity work -i `ve been able to give back to my country. It`s been a very humbling experience.

Contributing to their upbringing has impacted me massively. I was looking after kids before but taking them from being babies has made me grow up even more and my heart has become bigger. They bring me a lot of joy.

I still look at my kids and wonder, if these people came from me. Life is amazing. To have been the vessel that channelled such brilliant, gifted and lovable people into the world makes me so proud.

I am constantly recharged by the different artists I work with, by the new challenges we face, and by listening to my inner voice. My trip to the ocean every year gives me great peace, and now that I am a grandfather for the first time, I am thrilled and inspired every day that I see my granddaughter because I have great hope for the future generation.

It has made me feel very, very humble, and I shall always hold it as a beacon for anything I may be able to do in the future, I sincerely hope I shall always be a credit to my race and to the motion picture industry.

One of my big takeaways from young people is courage. The courage to sometimes walk where no one has ever walked. And I also think young people are not afraid to do the work — it's not as if young people are waiting to be saved. They want to save and deliver on the number of things that they feel strong about. So it is important that as older people, we don't treat them as people we have to carry, they actually will carry us I think.

"When I experienced what was going on first hand, I just got sucked into the whole thing. Thank God I did. I met some amazing people and, hopefully, I’ve changed the lives of a lot of children. I was ecstatic and humbled but it also shows that we are doing something right and creating a good impact. This gives us encouragement.

I'm inspired by the people I meet in my travels — hearing their stories, seeing the hardships they overcome, their fundamental optimism and decency. I'm inspired by the love people have for their children. And I'm inspired by my own children, how full they make my heart. They make me want to work to make the world a little bit better. And they make me want to be a better man.

That’s what my journey taught me, that I could do really meaningful things in a positive way—so that the ‘how’ it was done was maybe even more important than the ‘what’.

I wanted to talk to very young kids about self-image and about being different and how that can be your strength, especially from the immigrant perspective.

It gave me a boost of confidence. It reaffirmed my belief that dreams do come true. No matter where you come from, hard work and dedication really pay off.

I've had quite a number of career highlights for which I feel truly blessed that my hard work has met with success. I'm so proud of my African heritage and always have a sense of fulfillment when I'm given the opportunity to serve.
