This time, I’m trying to make new mistakes

I keep making mistakes, even the same ones over and over. I repeatedly attempt (and fail) to keep God and my fellow humans at arm’s length. I say no when I should say yes. I say yes when I should say no. I stumble into holy moments not realizing where I am until they are over. I love poorly, then accidentally say the right thing at the right moment without even realizing it, then forget what matters, then show tenderness ...

I make mistakes; I'll be the second to admit it.

I shall often go wrong through defect of judgment. When right, I shall often be thought wrong by those whose positions will not command a view of the whole ground. I ask your indulgence for my own errors, which will never be intentional, and your support against the errors of others, who may condemn what they would not if seen in all its parts.

I want a new mistake, lose is more than hesitate.

I make a lot of bad decisions

Even the knowledge of my own fallibility cannot keep me from making mistakes. Only when I fall do I get up again.

I am not afraid to make a mistake, even a great mistake, a lifelong mistake and perhaps as long as eternity too.

All the mistakes I’ve made have been because I’ve assumed something and then acted as though it was fact. Very dangerous, Agent Lemieux. Believe me. I wonder if you haven’t already leaped to a false conclusion?

Mistakes are the inevitable lot of mankind.

But perhaps the biggest interruption coming from your inside is caused by your worrying about making a mistake.

Whenever I let the slightest thing make me forget myself, I can't help but be disappointed.
