what is a great exec?

my draft definition:
1. pushes paces. company moves significantly faster because of her
2. helps make better big decisions
3. finds the 100x opportunity and pursues it with zeal
4. could take over as CEO at any point

High-EQ leaders might find it harder to transition from a 100 person company (when you can know everyone) to a 1,000 person company.

Their high EQ might have allowed them to get by (at 100 employees) without formal systems to translate their understanding and empathy.

two types of wealthy people:

1. have a few brilliant insights and also do a lot of stupid things
2. avoid doing stupid things and have average insights

it is really easy to do the later, very hard to do the former
