I wanted to show the world that you could be anywhere in the world and be able to sequence. You don’t have to ship samples out to the US or UK. You can sequence wherever you are and everybody's capable. We were able to show that using our small sequencing machine in Bangladesh.

A country does not need as many scientists as medical doctors. We just need a few passionate and dedicated individuals who will bring about great discoveries and societal change through their research

I think with every initiative anyone takes in Bangladesh, they take it as a given that there will be barriers.
