God helps him who strives hard.

Wer immer strebend sich bemüht,
Den können wir erlösen.

He who has done his best for his own time has lived for all times.

He never errs who sacrifices self.

His resolve is not to seem, but to be, the best.

It is always there for the person who will surrender his life to the Lord and keep on doing so when difficulties arise.

He that loves thee, He that keeps
And guards thee, never slumbers, never sleeps.

Brethren, is not this the Saviour that you need? one who can save you from the utmost depths of depravity, in the utmost corner of the earth, on the utmost inch of time? One who can save you amidst the utmost urgency of fierce temptations, and who in the uttermost extreme of exhausted nature, when heart and flesh do faint and fail, completes the work, and seals the salvation for evermore?

For all in whose hearts he still lives- a watchman of honor who never sleeps.

There is nothing impossible to him who will try.

The day is always (hers or) his, who works in it with serenity and great aims.

Victory belongs to the most persevering.

Who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.

He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much;
Who has enjoyed the trust of pure women, the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children;
Who has filled his niche and accomplished his task;
Who has never lacked appreciation of Earth's beauty or failed to express it;
Who has left the world better than he found it,
Whether an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul;
Who has always looked for the best in others and given them the best he had;
Whose life was an inspiration;
Whose memory a benediction.
