Ravi Shankar Prasad (born 30 August 1954) is an Indian politician and a lawyer. He served as Union Minister holding the Law and Justice, Electronics and Information Technology and Communications portfolios between 2014 and 2021. In 2019, Prasad defeated actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha, from Patna Sahib seat by a margin of 2.84 lakh votes.
