People have doubted me and criticized me my whole life, and that's why I'm the way I am.

They have vilified me, they have crucified me; yes, they have even criticized me.

That happens all the time. That’s basically all I hear. The most common criticism I get is that I’m being manipulated and you shouldn’t use children in political ways, because that is abuse, and I can’t think for myself and so on. And I think that is so annoying! I’m also allowed to have a say – why shouldn’t I be able to form my own opinion and try to change people’s minds?
But I’m sure you hear that a lot, too; that you’re too young and too inexperienced. When I see all the hate you receive for that, I honestly can’t believe how you manage to stay so strong.

The accusation is always that I'm 'reactionary'.

Every body is a critic.

People will always criticise, it is bound to happen. Even siblings can disagree and not like each other and they are from one family so expecting everybody in the country to like you is not clever. I only draw a line when it is extended to my family.

Wise criticism always begins with self-criticism.

There are some people who criticize you without knowing what they are about or have no knowledge about you and still want to go ahead and criticize. Knowing where I went wrong makes me improve on my acting skills. So when it comes to criticism I love it and that helps me push for the best. It makes me understand when I am making a right move in acting.

The critics barged in to harp on every decision we made. . .Sadly, I began to doubt myself. Maybe I was too young. Maybe I wasn’t a good enough sailor.

People will criticize you whether you do well or not,” You have to be comfortable with who you are, and be willing to make necessary adjustment. The day you start listening to people’s criticism is the day you start living for other people. And you can’t afford to do that, not even for one day.

The bigger you get, the more criticism you get.

Criticism always come from people that haven’t even done half of what you have done while encouragement seems to always come from people that have done more than you have.

Whenever anyone criticized me I felt certain that I had been living under the most dreadful misapprehension. I always accepted the attack in silence, though inwardly so terrified as almost to be out of my mind.
