You go to Heaven once you've been to Hell

Maybe you don't go to hell for the things you do. Maybe you go to hell for the things you don't do.

To enter heaven is to become more human than you ever succeeded in being on earth; to enter hell, is to be banished from humanity.

There is no Hell when you die so don't look so worried

If you are a Christian, you are not a citizen of this world trying to get to heaven; you are a citizen of heaven making your way through this world.

You were not put on this earth just to get in touch with God.

You can go to hell without moving an inch, just focus on what you lack.

You can taste heaven without leaving earth, just rejoice in what you have.

I cannot find in Scripture that anyone ever got to heaven merely by sincerity, or was accepted with God if he was only earnst in maintaining his own views.[…] Sincerity cannot put away sin.

Maybe you don't go to hell for the things you do. Maybe you go to hell for the things you don't do. The things you don't finish.

...instead of praying for some new holy man to save you, learn the way to Hell in order to steer clear of it yourself.

We will not go to Heaven,Goetz, and even if we both entered it, we would not have eyes to see each other, nor hands to touch each other. Up there, God gets all the attention.... We can only love on this earth and against God.

These people who expect to be saints in heaven, though they were not on Earth, have ignored the wisdom of the founders of the great religions. This wisdom is that the kingdom of heaven is within you and that you do not go to heaven unless you are already in it. The magic must be wrought by you and you alone. God has no fairy wand to tap the pig and turn it into a swan.

People ignore this. And those who believe in sinners burning in hell are, perhaps, not so much concerned with going to heaven as with being sure that sinners-–others-–roast forever in the flames.

Ascending to heaven is the greatest trip in every good Muslim's existence. I don't believe that the Prophet meant this trip to be an exception. I think that a woman can get into Heaven, as long as she's accompanied by a man of her family.
