I think maybe people look at the results, but I think we’ve definitely improved. What we’re doing on the ball, what Pedro is encouraging us to do – close connections – everyone feels confident now.

Whether it is tennis or any other sport, the situation for women now is far better than it was 10 years ago when I had started playing. Now, people support and promote their daughters to play and take up sports as their career. It wasn't the case during my time. I am glad that things are looking better for girls. Taking a step in this direction, I too have opened my training academy in Hyderabad. Sport for girls in India is in great shape now.

We have definitely seen marked improvements in the status of women. These improvements are driven by the diligent efforts exerted by women- led movements.

If you look over the course of my career, how the US has improved and other countries have improved, being an optimist, especially in financial markets, have proven to be a good outcome.

Nowadays everyone can play: some may have less talent but more physical preparation. And this can bring results in the long run. Injury prevention is also a key aspect.

I think they’re getting more visible. The fight is getting louder. I don’t know if it’s getting better for everyone, for those that are already in the limelight and have gotten their break, probably.

I am happy to have won the championship. Many people have improved, the last time I played here there were not many woman candidate masters, today we have about three kids with those titles and I was really impressed with the way they played.

So if you think that when you are better, it means that you can smash ahead and mate the guy, you are wrong, that is not what better means. What better means is that your position has the potential, if played correctly, to turn out well. So do not think that when you are better and when you are attacking that you can just force mate. That is not what it is about. Often the way to play best, the way to play within the position, is to maintain it.

The music industry is progressing, I don’t see Ghana music today the same as it was. Things are getting better every single day; the shows and security have become better. There’s more room for improvement on everyone’s side.

I think the men's game is in a good state

I think my performances did keep getting better. I also think that I managed to give Godzilla a distinct character. I'm very proud of that.
