Catch-22 says they have a right to do anything we can't stop them from doing.

So while gun owners are always saying that owning guns is about defending freedom, the only freedom gun owners seem interested in defending with their guns is the freedom to defend their freedom to own guns.

When people feel that they are empowered… then they can do whatever they want to do. It’s their country to change.

Some of you may be aware our gun laws in the United States don’t make much sense. Anybody can buy any weapon any time — without much if any regulation, they can buy it over the Internet, they can buy machine gun.

There is not something fundamentally different about the American DNA that causes us to have a level of gun violence that is 20 times that of other first-world nations....It happens here because we choose to allow it to happen. We have a celebratory culture of guns, and the loosest firearms laws in the world.

But let us not rail about justice as long as we have arms and the freedom to use them.

If they want to engage in activism or whatever, it’s up to them. If they aren’t afraid of the laws, it’s up to them, and if someone finds a gun and shoot them, or throws grenades at them, well, they have to live with that. If they aren’t afraid, it’s up to them.

Americans have the right and advantage of being armed - unlike the citizens of other countries whose governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.

There is a constitutional right for people to own guns, but there's also a constitutional right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness...

I love the freedoms we got in this country, I appreciate your freedom to burn your flag if you want to, but I really appreciate my right to bear arms so I can shoot you if you try to burn mine.

I think people should be allowed to do anything they want. We haven't tried that for a while. Maybe this time it'll work.

This is the story of America. Everybody's doing what they think they're supposed to do.

Americans don't go around carrying guns with the idea they're using them to influence other Americans. There's no reason why on the street today a citizen should be carrying loaded weapons.
