Byla to zajisté spoluvina nás všech v Německu, že jsme upadli do těchto politických poměrů, že jsme ztratili svobodu a museli žít pod despotickou vládou nekulturních, hrubých lidí. Ale směli jsme si zároveň říci ke své úlevě, že jsme se stali obětí aktů zamaskovaného porušení práva kombinovaných s akty násilí. Jako má člověk, jemuž bylo ublíženo, zajištěné ve státě své právo státním řádem, tak jsme doufali i my, že evropský řád takové státní zločiny nepřipustí.
