Because of technology everything we make is always in the process of becoming. Every kind of thing is becoming something else, while it churns from “might” to “is.” All is flux. Nothing is finished. Nothing is done. This never-ending change is the pivotal axis of the modern world.

That nothing is static or fixed, that all is fleeting and impermanent, is the first mark of existence. It is the ordinary state of affairs. Everything is in process. Everything — every tree, every blade of grass, all the animals, insects, human beings, buildings, the animate and the inanimate — is always changing, moment to moment. We don’t have to be mystics or physicists to know this. Yet at the level of personal experience, we resist this basic fact. It means that life isn’t always going to go our way. It means there’s loss as well as gain.

All is flux, nothing stays still

Everything changes and nothing stands still.

Everything flows and nothing abides; everything gives way and nothing stays fixed.

Things of this world are in so constant a flux that nothing remains long in the same state.

Nothing is absolute. Everything changes, everything moves, everything revolves, everything flies and goes away.

Nothing is permanent but change.

All things are changing; and thou thyself art in continuous mutation and in a manner in continuous destruction and the whole universe to.

Things have changed and everything is getting dynamic– our society and institutions are dynamic. We are now in the digital age and things have taken a different dimension.

Everything is in a state of metamorphosis. Thou thyself art in everlasting change and in corruption to correspond; so is the whole universe.

Everything is impermanent. Every physical and mental experience arises and passes. Everything in existence is endlessly arising out of causes and conditions. We all create suffering for ourselves through our resistance, through our desire to have things different than the way they are - that is, our clinging or aversion.

There is nothing constant in the universe. All ebb and flow, and every shape that's born, bears in its womb the seeds of change.
