I believe that each of us has a non-believer and a believer in us, who talk to each other inside, questioning each other, constantly sending pointed and disturbing questions back to each other. The non-believer in me disquiets the believer in me and vice versa.

Personalmente ritengo che Dio ci ha creato uomo e donna e che perciò la dottrina morale tradizionale conserva delle buone ragioni su questo punto. Naturalmente sono pronto ad ammettere che in alcuni casi la buona fede, le esperienze vissute, le abitudini contratte, l'inconscio e probabilmente anche una certa inclinazione nativa possono spingere a scegliere per sé un tipo di vita con un partner dello stesso sesso. Nel mondo attuale tale comportamento non può venire perciò né demonizzato né ostracizzato.
