I am life which wants to live admidst of lives that want to live.

I am life that wants to live, in the midst of life that wants to live.

While living, I want to live well.

I don't want to die. I want to live. I want to live long enough so I can really live.

Why live? Life was its own answer. Life was the propagation of more life and the living of as good a life as possible.

I simply want to live; to cause no evil to anyone but myself.

It's not enough to have lived. We should be determined to live for something. May I suggest that it be creating joy for others, sharing what we have for the betterment of personkind, bringing hope to the lost and love to the lonely.

The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware. In this state of god-like awareness one sings; in this realm the world exists as poem.

I want so to live that I work with my hands and my feeling and my brain. I want a garden, a small house, grass, animals, books, pictures, music. And out of this, the expression of this, I want to be writing (Though I may write about cabmen. That's no matter.) But warm, eager, living life — to be rooted in life — to learn, to desire, to feel, to think, to act. This is what I want. And nothing less. That is what I must try for.

To Live signifies to believe and hope — to lie and to lie to oneself.

Only to live, to live and live! Life, whatever it may be!

But, – and there it is, – we want to live and move, though we have no reason to, because it happens that it is the nature of life to live and move, to want to live and move. If it were not for this, life would be dead. It is because of this life that is in you that you dream of your immortality.
