Yuzuru Hanyu (羽生 結弦, Hanyū Yuzuru, born December 7, 1994) is a Japanese figure skater and the first in 66 years since 1952 to win back-to-back Olympic gold in the men's singles discipline. In recognition of his historic and inspirational achievements Hanyu received the People's Honour Award in 2018.
