When sharing, one person divides, the other chooses.

If we live together, together we must decide.

Maitreya’s Sword of Cleavage forces humanity to make a choice: to share or die. He states it clearly: “Men must share or die. There is no other course.” When it dawns on us that we share or we die, of course we will accept to share and that will create the conditions in which all can live in peace.

There will be cases where someone’s future will rest in your hands

Now the hour to part has come. I go to die, you go to live. Which of us goes to the better lot is known to no one, except the god.

Even if lives did hang in the balance, it would depend on whose they were.

If there are females in your group, they will have plenty of hard and necessary work to do. Everyone will have to pull their own weight, but the hunting and fighting is almost always going to be up to the men. When lives are on the line, people will drop the etiquette of equality and make that decision again and again because it makes the most sense.

Each partner, in fact, shares in the honor and dishonor of the other.

Alas!
We give our destiny from our own hands,
And trust to those most frail of all frail things,
The chances of humanity.

The bones of the Dead will be seen to govern the fortunes of him who moves them.

Our destiny is largely in our hands.

I want to know/who will decide our fate?/You, or I, or WE together?/Will I be free to discover my own path?

“When are you going to see that the only way we can carry our burdens is to share them?” (p310)

The time is now near at hand which must probably determine whether Americans are to be freemen or slaves; whether they are to have any property they can call their own; whether their houses and farms are to be pillaged and destroyed, and themselves consigned to a state of wretchedness from which no human efforts will deliver them. The fate of unborn millions will now depend, under God, on the courage and conduct of this army. Our cruel and unrelenting enemy leaves us only the choice of brave resistance, or the most abject submission. We have, therefore, to resolve to conquer or die.
