When in a fight to the death, you must make fullest use of your weaponry. It is against our principles to die with a weapon yet undrawn.

When thy enemy stretches out his hand to thee, cut it off if thou art able, otherwise kiss it.

Sometimes you do have to fight. Where that’s true, you should fight and win. There is no middle ground: either don’t throw any punches, or strike hard and end it quickly.
