I fell into this role, and I've been able to make a career out of it

I've earned this Goddamn job!

The highlight of my career was the day when I got this job full time.

I had a job to do in the ring, and the businessmen around me had a job to do outside the ring, I did my job by beating up most of the guys they put in front of me and staying in shape, but the people I trusted didn’t do their jobs.

I ended up loving wrestling passionately.

You're damn right I'm in it to make money. This is prizefighting, I'm in it to get rich; fast. And then I'm in it to get out... I'm in the business of securing my own future, my family's future, and that's it. That's what I'm in it for. The fight game doesn't last long, competitive fighting doesn't last long. Learning martial arts, and training, is for life because that's medication to me so I will do that forever. But, as far as the fight game, I'm in it to get all the money, all the belts, and then I'm gone.

[On boxing] [For] The Chicago Code, I did some boxing. It makes you stand differently when you know you can punch someone out.

Well, I think it's a very good job. One of the most appealing things about it is that... it enables you to participate in some way and to some extent in the way the country is governed but you're able to maintain a private life as well.

I worked because I could control it.

I had a good political career, and I have a good business career. I didn't get the brass ring, but I did very well.

Every sport has helped me excel in another. Boxing has given me the mental strength to know that I can face anything on the field, without a doubt.

Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job.
