There is no right or wrong apart from what you decide.
Who you chose to defend deserves to be defended simply because
you
chose them. You are the
Fire Lord.
What you chose, by definition, is
right.

It is requisite to defend those who are unjustly accused of having acted injuriously, but to praise those who excel in a certain good.

You are not for the left or right team, but for what is right against the wrong.

The individual must not merely wait and criticize, he must defend the cause the best he can. The fate of the world will be such as the world deserves.

You are not just for the right or left, but for what is right over the wrong.

Dear brethren, make your choice. Fight you must. Are you going to win or be beaten? Make your choice of the image you must bear. Whose?

My own opinion is enough for me, and I claim the right to have it defended against any consensus, any majority, anywhere, any place, any time. And anyone who disagrees with this can pick a number, get in line and kiss my ass.

Gays and lesbians, when you fight against discrimination and a cure for AIDS, you are right - but your patch is not big enough. Conservatives and progressives, when you fight for what you believe, right wing, left wing, hawk, dove, you are right from your point of view, but your point of view is not enough.

The tiger that assails me is in the right, and I who strike him down am also in the right. I defend against him not my right, but myself.

I have always believed that being on the right means defending opportunities for everyone, while being on the left means working hard to ensure that everyone has more opportunities.

Remember that just because other people agree or disagree with you doesn’t make you right or wrong — the only thing that matters is the correctness of your analysis and judgment.

I believe every person, no matter if I disagree with you or not, you have the right as a Muslim to have the proper spiritual [rites] and rituals provided for you. And whoever judges you that will be Allah’s decision, not me.
