I never said to be like me, I say be yourself and make a difference.

Be not angry that you cannot make others as you wish them to be, since you cannot make yourself as you wish to be.

At a certain point, I gave up on the idea that I’m not enough for other people…You are enough for you if you believe that you are enough for you. Whatever they say — you’re not Latina enough, or feminine enough or smart enough, you know ... just say ‘fuck you.’ That’s their problem.

I'm just so sick of new artists picking themselves apart trying to find something different about themselves. I'm not going to buy into it, because, quite frankly, I hate images. I'm just going to be me, whatever that is, and do my music, because it makes me happy. What makes me different is really up to you guys.

You are what you want to become. Why search anymore? You are a wonderful manifestation. The whole universe has come together to make your existence possible. There is nothing that is not you. The kingdom of God, the Pure Land, nirvana, happiness, and liberation are all you.

Just be the best and the highest expression of who you want to become. Be that. Because if you are that there is no more unhappiness. All frustration and anger comes from being less. People say not everybody can be. But everyone can be. I trust life. The only person who stands in your way is yourself.

You create yourself, whatever you believe you are. You are the way you are because that is what you believe about yourself.

I discovered that I am tired of being a person. Not just tired of being the person I was, but any person at all
