We promise we'll carry on.

We didn't break a promise. We made a commitment in our manifesto, we didn't win the election. We then entered into a coalition agreement, and it's the coalition agreement that is binding upon us and which I'm trying to honour,

It pays to boil down your strategy to one simple promise and go the whole hog in delivering that promise.

Let us keep that promise – that American promise – and in the words of Scripture — hold firmly, without wavering, to the hope that we confess.

Many leaders promise, we deliver.
