A person of honor chooses to loss his honor rather than his consicience

May the Lord array thee in the garment of salvation and surround thee with the cloak of happiness.

You wear your honor like a suit of armor... You think it keeps you safe, but all it does is weigh you down and make it hard for you to move.

Do you wish to honor the Body of the Savior? Do not despise it when it is naked. Do not honor it in church with silk vestments while outside it is naked and numb with cold. He who said, “This is my body,” and made it so by his word, is the same that said, “You saw me hungry and you gave me no food. As you did it not to the least of these, you did it not to me.” Honor him then by sharing your property with the poor. For what God needs is not golden chalices but golden souls.

For God the Creator makes some vessels "unto honor" and he makes other vessels "unto dishonor"; but it is that vessel which has purged itself from all impurity that he makes a "vessel unto honor," while the one which has stained itself with low vices he makes a "vessel unto dishonor," And so we conclude from this that the cause of each man's activities goes back into the past and that each was made by God a vessel of honor or of dishonor in accordance with his merits.

What is left when honor is lost?

You may abandon your own body but you must preserve your honour.

My honor is dearer to me than my life.

You will exceed all of them. For you will sacrifice the man that clothes me.

Would you rather die with honor intact or live with it besmirched?

Every good citizen makes his country's honor his own, and cherishes it not only as precious but as sacred. He is willing to risk his life in its defense and is conscious that he gains protection while he gives it.

It is they who glorify, who shall enjoy Him; they who deny themselves, who shall not be denied; they who labor on earth, who shall rest in heaven; they who bear the cross, who shall wear the crown; they who seek to bless others, who shall be blessed.

You are ready to give your life for your honour ... Be ready to give up your honour for your soul.
