I don't think we talk enough about how far simply giving a fuck will take you in life. Give a fuck about your health. Give a fuck about your work. Give a fuck about the people you love. Give a fuck about your happiness. Life isn't that complicated. Drink more water. Go for a walk. Message someone first. Be five minutes early. Put your phone down. Be kind when you don't have to be. We all know what to do. We just forget how much power there is in actually giving a fuck. Give more fucks.

I think something cool happens when you take your dreams so seriously you'd give almost anything to reach them... then laugh about the fleeting nature of achievement. That's the hilarious sweet spot. When you care enough to give it everything, and you're wise enough to know none of will matter in 100 years. As bizarre as it sounds, I think that might be where peace lives. In the odd liminal space between self-importance and cosmic indifference. Between control and chaos. Obsession and perspective. Between going all in and letting it all go. That's the art of life. Because life's too short not to make a dent while you're here. But also... lighten the fuck up. Laugh at yourself. None of us really know what we're doing. We're just slightly evolved apes on a spinning rock, trying to make it mean something.

I can think of about 8.2 billion people figuring it out as they fucking go. Truthfully, no one really knows what the fuck they're doing. We're all just making a series of guesses. Some work. Some point us toward the next one. The gap between the life you want and the life you have usually comes down to how willing you are to make more bad guesses. Everyone looks certain from a distance. Up close it's a lot of crossed fingers. The world isn't won by the most prepared. It's won by those who stopped waiting to feel ready.
