That's the thing I'm learning about being thrown out on yer own. Nobody does nothing for you. If you don't change it, it don't get changed.

Through my own efforts, I am lost most of the time without any help from anyone.

Then see what kind of a band you got up there, without all the assistance.

Stand alone! See the glory of your own soul, and see that you will have to work.

Do not wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person.

In our obscurity - in all this vastness - there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. It is up to us.

It's amazing how much you can accomplish if you start without needing anyone else's opinion.

You must look most intimately and discover for yourself; then it is your own, not somebody else’s, not something that you have been told, because there is no teacher and no follower.

Do not conform to the expectations others have of you, but forge your own path.
