I think if more women and athletes are vocal about equality and their rights, whether it’s in the business world or sports, having those kinds of strong characters can only lead to a better future. We need to speak up and demand more!

I want to develop individually but there is also the need for us to make women’s sport more popular.

How beautiful would it be if our women could have the same opportunity as men.

More women to engage in sports and called on the government to provide greater support for their involvement.

We need to continue to provide opportunities for minorities and women, to give them sponsorship and training and to make opportunities to have more diverse winners,

It's about time now we get the recognition and we get the gender equality that we deserve.

Women have been disadvantaged for a long time. My appeal to women is, they should come forward and show case their talents and skills.

"Having more women and minorities achieving in sport helps the (representation in the) corporate world. And having more women in the corporate world, rising in leadership, helps the (representation in the) sport world," she said. I would like to see more women play an active role in all film related fields. From lighting, finance, cinematography, editing to directing, we need more women taking space.

In order to encourage more women participation in leadership and government, the world should give them the support they require and create space for them.

I believe we need more women in leadership who can push for the necessary changes and men who can also be champions of equity.

I think the whole movement of #MeToo is not just calling out the sexual harassers, which is really important, but also crying out that we want equal pay, equal representation, equal opportunities, and that we want to see more female directors and photographers.

After all these centuries of retirement women need more than an ‘equal opportunity’ to show what’s in them, they need a generous shove into positions of responsibility.
