I need to stay focused and tough - negativity will always be there but If I’m working hard, getting to the places I want to play, it means that I’m controlling all I can.

I don't focus on what I'm up against. I focus on my goals and I try to ignore the rest.

We must focus on the positive instead of the list of negatives we’ve collected over time, and keep that focus regardless of what flies in our faces.

I'm the kind of person who doesn't really focus on more negativity. I'm a positive person, and I look at things in a positive way.

There are a lot of things you can focus on. If you can, focus on something you greatly enjoy, even if it’s alone or with one friend and put energy into it. If you dwell on the negative it will swallow you but if you focus on the positive it will help you.

I do not pay attention to negativity,if I dwell in that, I cannot move forward.

I work extremely hard doing what I love, mainly to ensure that I don't have to work extremely hard doing what I hate.

Don’t complain; just work harder.

It’s important to focus on getting better and trying not to add pressure because ultimately, when I’m enjoying it I play my best football week in, week out.

But it seems like I'm just working hard and focusing on the right things and work. So I'm really happy.
