The status quo doesn’t shift because you’re right. It shifts because the culture changes. And the engine of culture is status.

First of all, we have to raise to a new, higher level of reform in the field of freedom of expression and information, human rights and freedoms, to further improve the legal system, the development of civil society, and it should be noted that in these areas there is still a lot to do.

We’ve got to rethink the multilateral system, ensure it’s more fair, more open, transparent, and democratic.

Our society has so many issues, it is difficult to continue to reflect a sunny ideal when for many that is not the case.

Things have changed and everything is getting dynamic– our society and institutions are dynamic. We are now in the digital age and things have taken a different dimension.

Things must change: it is not a question of "repainting" the situation by saying that now one will adopt a system based on justice, but we must involve everyone in order to rebuild society from below. Although the situation is deplorable, we should not fold our arms, we cannot fall into the temptation of severe pessimism. Evil does not have the last word, we must always live in the founded hope that man, in spite of all that may sound bad, is not totally corrupt.

If we know in what way society is unbalanced, we must do what we can to add weight to the lighter scale ... we must have formed a conception of equilibrium and be ever ready to change sides like justice, 'that fugitive from the camp of conquerors'.

We in chronic need of a second look of the law books, And the whole race dichotomy

Our demands are – and have to be – more complex than any that have gone before.

Our legislation in this area needed to be updated, and especially in light of France’s request for armed assistance after the attacks in Paris. We realized that our existing legislation was not flexible enough. We live in a fast changing world, and our laws on overseas military support must reflect new realities.

We gotta grow with the times, things have got to change. You know, sometimes the old rules don't apply anymore. And now...you know, we need some new rules.

We need a much deeper understanding of exactly what it is our industrial society, in its present creation, is jeopardizing. We need a more profound perception of what is at stake.

The framework we're using assumes the planet, and human societies that live upon it, are complex and constantly evolving, so we need to continually learn about and adapt to these ongoing changes.
