Living is messy.

To do that means you will get messy, because life is messy. Yes, life is a gift, every day of it, but it isn't tied with a bow.

You have options. You can either continue to be miserable or you can just stop being angry at everyone and accept the way things are. Allow yourself to live.

Life is divine Chaos. It's messy, and it's supposed to be that way.

Life’s not fair, people are messy, and pain is inevitable.

Your peace depends on how fast you stop trying to fix everyone and how soon you start owning your response.

While coming to grips with my new reality wasn’t easy, and at times I couldn’t help but wonder — why did this happen to me? — I had to take responsibility for getting my life back. Instead of complaining about how things should be, I embraced how things were. I stopped putting energy into wishing my life were any different — into wishing bad things didn’t happen to me — and instead focused 100% on making the best of what I had. Since I couldn’t change the past, I focused on moving forward. I dedicated my life to fulfilling my potential and achieving my dreams so I could discover how to empower others to do the same.

Real life is only ever just real life. Messy. What it means depends on how you look at it. The only thing you’ve got to do is find a way to live there.

At this point, a reasonable person can’t help thinking how grotesque life is. It can so suck, to use the theological term. It can be healthy to hate what life has given you, and to insist on being a big mess for a while. This takes great courage. But then, at some point, the better of two choices is to get back up on your feet and live again.

Life might be bad...do not make it worse

If things weren't messy, or getting messy, there would be no discontent, and you wouldn't need productive thinking in the first place.

Real life is messy, inconsistent, and it's seldom when anything ever really gets resolved. It's taken me a long time to realize that.

Death is simple. Life is messy. Give me life, the more complicated the better.

Relationships are messy and there is no way to eliminate the bumps and potholes, but we don't have to make them any more difficult than they already are.

It wasn’t what was done to you. Life was what you did with what was done to you.
