Who never lost, are unprepared

no one ever is defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality.

We are never defeated unless we give up on God.

Everyone in this life is defeated but a man, if he be a man, is not defeated.

If victory is not theirs this time, it will be the next time. And if not the next time, then the time after that... The important thing is to get back on your feet. Only he who gives up is defeated. Everyone else is victorious.

The defeated are those who never fail. Defeat means that we lose a particular battle or war. Failure does not allow us to go on fighting.

Just remember: strength and courage. If you stand on principle, you'll never lose.

This is the unusual thing about nonviolence — nobody is defeated, everybody shares in the victory.

We may be personally defeated, but our principles never.

They think my God and I are defeated. But he never betrays not does he accept defeat.
