alone, and start to think. There are the rushing waves . . . mountains of molecules, each stupidly minding its own business . . . trillions apart . . . yet forming white surf in unison. But that was my big moment: I gave a seminar in the biology department at Harvard! I always do that, get into something and see how far I can go.
