Getting to travel a lot and meeting new people. For me, that’s the best part of the experience of being a music artist.

It's good. You know, it's nice coming out and actually meeting all your fans - you make this thing in your bedroom and you don't really know who is going to get it or relate to it or anything, you know? And you just pour your heart out kind of thing, and then you find out you relate to people and that's the final process of it. You know, to meet people who are actually like you and that you connect with, you know what I mean? That's kind of cool. That's the best thing about touring.

I really love to do it all, but singing has opened so many doors for me. And that’s definitely a true passion of mine. It’s a natural, God-given gift. I always find comfort in singing, so singing is number one. Acting, modeling: those go hand-in-hand and I enjoy those too.

It's definitely not a burden because I love traveling. It's a discovery of others, a pleasure, and above all, communication and sharing of my music and singing with different people.

My favorite part of my job is never having to doubt that I’m doing something of value. And I don’t mean this in the global sense; there are more practical ways to help people. But I do think that--and this may be selfish--I am working at something that’s making me a better human.

I really enjoy meeting our fans. They are incredibly passionate and talented.

Absurdity is what I like most in life, and there's humor in struggling in ignorance. If you saw a man repeatedly running into a wall until he was a bloody pulp, after a while it would make you laugh because it becomes absurd.

There's nothing better than going out there and performing and making that connection with audiences. Even after all this time I get the biggest buzz from that.

To me, the wonderful thing about music is a love affair between the performer and the composer, and between the composer and his audience. This love affair is a tripartite thing.

A live concert to me is exciting because of all the electricity that is generated in the crowd and on stage. It's my favorite part of the business — live concerts.

My fans are very important to me because they are a source of inspiration and encouragement. I hold each one of them very dear and I always strive to do my best to make them proud

My favorite thing is to go where I've never been.

[A:] Chatting. And the fact that I can write about whatever I like.
[Q:] And the worst?
[A:] Chatting. (I'm always behind with my work) And the fact that I can write about whatever I like - which is terrible when the cupboard is bare of ideas.
