I still get laughed at but it doesn't bother me, I'm just so glad to hear laughter around me.

If I can laugh, I can live.

I'm happy...I laugh as much as I can and cry when I have to, without apology. I think that’s happy.

I enjoy my life. The fame part of it freaked me out for a little while, and there are definitely times when it's not so great to be special and known by everybody — you know, when you're wearing the wrong thing, or just in a vulnerable place. But I'm good with my life now.

I think it is a good thing to laugh a lot, isn’t it?, I mean I’m a jolly good person, I find humour in things and I have no reservations laughing so there you have it. As I go older I would rather have wrinkles from laughing than from frowning.

I truly believe that when you're funny, you're blessed. Your whole life is kind of golden. I was happy, although it was not perfect happiness. There was illness and sadness and death.

I'm totally aware of how lucky I am. I have health, family, children. I do work that gives me total joy and allows me to make a living, and maybe, if I'm lucky enough, I'll feel I've fulfilled a little bit of service to society because I brought other people some laughter.

My appearance still made people laugh, with that hearty jovial laugh so good for the health.

A good life is a collection of happy moments.
