Life is not a linear game

No straight lines make up my life; And all my roads have bends; There's no clear-cut beginnings; And so far no dead-ends.

But real life doesn't travel in a perfect straight line; it doesn't necessarily have that 'all lived happily ever after' bit. You have to work on where you're going.

Life is not like water. Things in life don't necessarily flow over the shortest possible route.

Progress is almost never linear. Ups and downs and bursts.

Life is not always perfect. Like a road, it has many bends, ups and down, but that’s its beauty.

As Hegel well knew, the ascent of reason has never followed a straight line.

Life is incredibly contingent and unexpected.
