I have been a victim of bad legislation and I want to change it. I want to make legislation that's for the people.

When I sponsor a bill, I do it in hopes that I will change our country for the better.

To this end, I personally lead on, sponsor, champion and support a wide range of initiatives and projects, working with a number of organisations to drive change. I have worked with the Law Society, large corporates, various national and global law firms, Aspiring Solicitors, Speakers4Schools and the UK Government to name a few.

I love to be part of positive change in a way that it impacts lives. When I am in a position where I have a say and have the space to do the right thing, I go on overdrive.

I joined politics to add a voice to the legal voice so that voices of suffering Ugandans can reach far. To participate in making laws that are not against the people and to push for revision of bad laws and outdated ones.

I didn’t just watch (politics evolve).I participated in helping the change happen.

I believe I can make an impact and influence change in the lives of the downtrodden, and help ameliorate the sufferings of the needy in the State, not because that I want to enrich myself through political process.

I will act as if what i do makes a difference.

"For me I wanted to use my music to have a positive change into the society, and positive change is not only spiritual change. Positive change for me has been a peace activist, an environmental activist, women empowerment and girl empowerment".

I’ve worked across the aisle to pass laws and treaties and to launch new programs that help millions of people. And if you give me the chance, that’s what I’ll do as President.

Honestly speaking, I don't want to publish another book or article that does not have an advocacy purpose to it. I want to use my work to potentially change lives.

I first wrote to my MP when I was about 10. I always wanted to make a difference.

I want to be remembered as someone who tried to bring change amongst the youth in Namibia.

I will change the things that need changing and that is the change that I will bring about.
