I didn't expect to have this kind of opportunity to serve the country at this level so soon, but I take it as a huge privilege,

This is my job. I’ve been doing this for a while. I don’t have any fear. I will believe in myself, and what I can do. I cannot wait to be the best that I can be in this league and make a name for myself, and my family. I want to help this team as much as I can.

It's just a little bit of a confidence thing but in this format you've got to take it on and we're learning that as we go and hopefully it's a bit of a kick starter for us today.

I am deeply honored and excited to assume this new and challenging role at such a critical time in the fight against AIDS.

I was just so happy that I got a role and could give a performance. I still feel nervous at the thought of meeting an audience through the screen. I never dreamed that the show would become such a global sensation.

Delighted and frankly amazed that Diana is prepared to take me on.

A lot of it I am getting acclimated with as well. But we are getting really prepared and I can definitely see that we are getting focused for conference. I am really excited about it.

When I booked my first role, I felt completely validated in my pursuit, I had always wondered if I could actually do this for a living and once I booked my first job, it was like, "OK, someone other than me thinks I have a place on the screen."

So I got a new job, and I start tomorrow. I’m excited to have a job, and bummed out I’m going to be working.

I was really proud to be out there and to be called upon was great. When [the coaching staff] shouted me, I thought ‘Oh wow. There’s a lot I need to remember over the next couple of minutes!’ I was just trying to soak it all in. It was amazing to get out there.

I have fought a really local and positive campaign full of energy and enthusiasm and I think that came across. I’m not nervous, I’m honour and humbled to be elected, I appreciate the big challenge ahead, I have two children aged two and four so I am used to the challenge.

I'm honoured to be able to play Lilly more and more. It is a challenge that is really exciting, but also a little nerve-racking. I think that they saw the kind of person I am, a bubbly and confident person, and saw that I could do a good job

It’s a big step up. The hard work is only starting now, and I love all the new challenges coming my way and I am learning a lot from each challenge.

So when I transitioned out of that track, I moved into coaching immediately
