[T]he few changes that this crisis has brought about... their consequences, and what countries do in order to deal with them will depend on how long this crisis continues, and how effective the solution[s]... are likely to be. These are things that I don't have the expertise to predict: ...When is the vaccine coming out ...if there will be an effective cure..? [I]s there going to be a similar outbreak? ...I'm just ...assuming that this crisis will probably last another two, three, maybe five years... [A] lot of society will try to go back to the pre-pandemic way as much as possible, but... if we are going to be—even if we wanted—able to go back to the old ways... it will take a few years.

Realistically, it will be a case of muddling through, struggling from one crisis to the next. It is difficult to forecast how long this will continue for, but it cannot go on endlessly. Governments will pile up more debt — and then one day, the house of cards will collapse.

The crisis takes a much longer time coming than you think, and then it happens much faster than you would have thought.

The problems we see today are going to be a hell of a lot worse in 10 years if we're not willing to face up to them. These kids are just not going to be absorbed into the economy, so what are they going to be doing? Well, we know. They're going to be making life pretty miserable for a lot of people.

Challenges do remain. The economic impacts of 2020 are likely to be felt for some time. Economic downturns exacerbate inequalities of all types. Government finances are inevitably more stretched and we in the private sector will need to step up to support the recovery,"

The trick in any field - from finance to careers to relationships - is being able to survive the short-run problems so you can stick around long enough to enjoy the long-term growth.

The long term solution to the financial crisis is to move beyond the ‘growth at all costs’ economic model to a model that recognizes the real costs and benefits of growth.

It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer.

We are already into the crisis. It will accelerate in the next five years. There will come a time in the next 10 years when it will be irrelevant which party comes to power. The word democracy will be irrelevant when people rush to grab whatever available resources are left.

Unless the Social System does not come till then the financial crisis will remain as it exist in the present system for Dalits.

As soon as a crisis breaks out, within the given institutional framework, the same mistake will be made over and over again, on a larger and larger scale. Every future crisis will be bigger than the crisis that we had before.

Problems do not go away. They must be worked through or else they remain, forever a barrier to the growth and development of the spirit.

Solve big problems early.

Rebound after one missed workout, not a decade of inactivity.

Repair a strained relationship the next day, not years later.

Fix overspending before it becomes a lifestyle.

Problems with simple solutions at first become difficult to unwind over time.
