I do not think there is any other quality so essential to success of any kind as the quality of perseverance. It overcomes almost everything, even nature.

Persistence is probably the single most common quality of high achievers. They simply refuse to give up. The longer you hang in there, the greater the chance that something will happen in your favor. No matter how hard it seems, the longer you persist the more likely your success.

perseverance, grit, and willpower are essential to success, but the way to improve these qualities is not by wishing you were a more disciplined person, but by creating a more disciplined environment.

Invariably will you find perseverance exemplified as the radical principle in every truly great character.
