Throughout my life, until this very moment, whatever virtue I have accomplished, including any benefit that may come from this book, I dedicate to the welfare of all beings.

I demand that the world be good, and lo, it obeys. I proclaim the world good, and facts range themselves to prove my proclamation overwhelmingly true.

Dispose thy Soul to all good and necessary things!

The World is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion.

I give my soul to God. I bequeath the example of my public life to the youth of the world, praying they may emulate me in dedicating their own lives to securing justice for the poor of their generation, as I did mine.

I will maintain it before the whole world.

Give all to love; Obey thy heart; Friends, kindred, days, Estate, good fame, Plans, credit, and the muse; Nothing refuse.
