There is a saying in Tibet: “If you take care of the minutes, the years will take care of themselves.” What’s the most important minute in life? I think it’s the next one. There is nothing we can do about the past, and we have limited influence over the hours and days to come. But the next minute — minute after minute after minute — is always full of possibility.

In the currency of life, time is the most valuable coin.

The most precious, important thing that you have in your life is your energy. It is not your time that is limited, it is your energy. What you give it to each day is what you will create more and more of in your life. What you give your time to is what will define your existence.

The whole of life is but a moment of time. It is our duty, therefore to use it, not to misuse it.

What we put into every moment is all we have.

Minutes, foolish mortal, are the base mineral
that you must not let go of without extracting their gold!

"You marked the minutes," the old man said. "But did you use them wisely? To be still? To cherish? To be grateful? To lift and be lifted?"

It’s not until they tell you you’re going to die soon that you realize how short life is. Time is the most valuable thing in life because it never comes back. And whether you spend it in the arms of a loved one or alone in a prison-cell, life is what you make of it. Dream big.

Value Time: Our time on the earth is limited. There are so many things to do in this limited life span. So you have to manage your day and time wisely. Don’t be a fool to waste your precious time and life.

If we could be mindful of how short our time is, we might learn how precious each day is.

What man can you show me who places any value on his time, who reckons the worth of each day, who understands that he is dying daily?

It’s really clear that the most precious resource we all have is time.
