Why do we view the boundaries people create for themselves as challenges? Why do we see someone setting a limit and then try to push?

In whatever I do, I aim to do it to the best of my ability. I use all my strength when accomplishing a task. All jobs are supposed to be respected and it’s important to achieve anything you aim at. Every job is valuable

My drive has always been to exceed expectation there, by not just meeting targets but exceeding it.

I’ve discovered that the greatest challenges in defining your work are (1) to think about what you’re doing and (2) to do something about what you’re thinking.

Knowing that I can achieve more is what inspires me

Professionally, I’m driven by the meaning of the work and have been so throughout my career. Apologies for it sounding a little cliché, but I get up to make a meaningful impact on the world in any little way.

Work as hard as you can. Even though what you work on and who you work with are more important.

Success for me will be where the body of work I’ve done afforded me the opportunity to be as good as I can be, and to explore myself and to see what I’m capable of. People like that share a willingness to be scared and to take chances.

A lot challenges me! Not psyching myself out, not doubting myself, not comparing myself to others... all of that challenges me. But inevitably, challenges are put into our lives so that we may grow and become the best version of who we are meant to be.

I put the pressure on myself because I love what I do.

To know your limits you need to go beyond them.

I definitely want to push myself. I definitely want to be on the outside edge of what’s comfortable for me creatively, on the outside edge of what I’ve done before. I want to be pushing my own boundaries, but I try not to compare my films to my other films because I think that’s probably not a healthy way to look at it.

My nature is that I have to excite myself with a big challenge.

The challenges you face will test and strengthen you. If you’re not failing, you’re not pushing your limits, and if you’re not pushing your limits, you’re not maximizing your potential.
