Act with integrity.

Fairness means not to use fraud and trickery in the exchange of commodities and services and the exchange of feelings.

We must speak with fairness, responsibility and goodwill toward all ethnic groups.

Justice demands integrity. It’s to have a moral universe — not only know what is right or wrong but to put things in perspective, weigh things. Justice is different from violence and retribution; it requires complex accounting.

Fairness is a concept that holds only in limited situations. Yet we want the concept to extend to everything, in and out of phase. From snails to hardware stores to married life. Maybe no one finds it, or even misses it, but fairness is like love. What is given has nothing to do with what we seek.

Hold faithfulness and sincerity as first principles.

Treat all students and staff fairly, including foes.

And my primary focus across all of those priorities, whether it's with my staff, with COVID, and with other health care conditions, is equity. Making sure that I lead with equity, that I center equity, and that I do everything with a lens for equity.

The Peace and Beauty of any Society is Dependent Upon Justice and Honesty at all Levels.

Everyone cares about fairness, but there are two major kinds. On the left, fairness often implies equality, but on the right it means proportionality — people should be rewarded in proportion to what they contribute, even if that guarantees unequal outcomes.

Look for integrity, intelligence and energy.

Integrity in an interdependent reality is simply this: you treat everyone by the same set of principles.

Opportunities will be equal. The procedures will be fair. The result will be just.

Justice as fairness provides what we want.
