Let things happen, instead of always trying to make them happen.

Mindfulness is about being completely present in the moment, fully aware of yourself and your surroundings. It's helpful to think of the meditation part as highly specific training for being more present at all times of your life. When you meditate, you are strengthening your mindful muscle.

Recognize what is happening. Allow life to be just as it is. Investigate your inner experience with kindness and curiosity. Note or practice non-identification, not fusing with what you are experiencing but rather viewing it from a larger perspective.
