Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Deja Vu All Over Again

I had amnesia once or twice.

It's like deja-vu, all over again.

It's déjà vu all over again.

I'm a short-term nostalgic; things were great ten minutes ago. If only I could go back there. At my time of life I suffer from déjà vu and amnesia at the same time; I can't remember what happens next.

I did know once, only I've sort of forgotten.

J’ai rêvé de ce que j’oublie,
Je vis de ce qu’on m’a laissé.

There's an opposite to déjà vu. They call it jamais vu. It's when you meet the same people or visit places, again and again, but each time is the first. Everybody is always a stranger. Nothing is ever familiar.

I do remember, and then when I try to remember, I forget.

I have amnesia
I don't even know you
I need my memory back

i've forgotten more than you'll ever know

I've a grand memory for forgetting,

I just remembered that I'm absent-minded
Wait… I mean I lost my mind, I can't find it
