God is able to take the mess of our past and turn it into a message. He takes the trials and tests and turns them into a testimony.

God can make good use of all that happens, but the loss is real.

God still has a way of wringing good out of evil. History has proven time and time again that unmerited suffering is redemptive.

The only answer to this, and it isn't an entire answer, said Father Travis, is that God made human beings free agents. We are able to choose good over evil, but the opposite too. The only thing that God can do, and does all of the time, is to draw good from any evil situation.

The effort to untangle the human words from the divine seems not only futile to me but also unnecessary, since God works with what is. God uses whatever is usable in a life, both to speak and to act, and those who insist on fireworks in the sky may miss the electricity that sparks the human heart.

God is the only One who can redeem our lives, heal our broken hearts, and take what the Enemy meant for evil and use it for our good.

God has also given the sense to control. He has given us intelligence which could be utilised both for good and bad. I am not saying it’s easy for people to adopt celibacy—very few can do it.

There is nothing that God has judged good for us that He has not given us the means to accomplish, both in the natural and the moral world.

This is part of the infinite goodness of God, that He should allow evil to exist, and out of it produce good.

The wicked make all God's good works serve evil purposes but the person of good will, to the contrary, makes the evil doings of the wicked serve good purposes.

Much that may seem evil can be good.

God judged it better to bring good out of evil than to permit no evil to exist.
