Give me your hand

Make room for me
to lead and follow

beyond this rage of poetry.

Let others have
the privacy of
touching words
and love of loss
of love.

For me
Give me your hand.

Here I stand, feeling lost and so alone.
Take my hand; don't desert me now,
Please don't hurt me now.

No one knows how I feel,
What I say unless you read between my lines,
One man walked away from me
First he took my hand, take me home.

Take my hand, take my whole life, too.

Give me your hand
out of the depths
sown by your sorrows.

Touch me, touch the palm of your hand to my body as I pass,
Be not afraid of my body.

I don't know where my road is going, but I know that I walk better when I hold your hand.

Take my hand. We will walk. We will only walk. We will enjoy our walk without thinking of arriving anywhere.

Guide Thou my hand within that hand of Thine —
Thy wounded hand! — until its tremblings take
Strength from Thy touch.

If perchance you should falter during the journey, a hand would be there to support you. If that should be wanting, God, who alone could take that hand from you, would Himself accomplish its work.

If you ever have need of my life, come and take it.
