The past, the present, and the future are really one: they are today

There exists only the present instant... a Now which always and without end is itself new. There is no yesterday nor any tomorrow, but only Now, as it was a thousand years ago and as it will be a thousand years hence.

There is no other day. All days are present now. This moment contains all moments.

Yesterday’s the past, tomorrow’s the future, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.

I used to think there was no time like the present. I used to think there was no time but the present. Now I know better — or different, anyway. In the end, the past will always be there. The past is all there is: the present never sticks around for long enough, and the future is anybody’s guess. In time, you always have to hand it to the past. It always gets you in the end.

No time like the present.

In the end, today is forever, yesterday is still today, and tomorrow is already today.

Now is now. It can never be a long time ago.

Is not my present nearer my past of yesterday than the present of Sirius?

It's being here now that's important. There's no past and there's no future. Time is a very misleading thing. All there is ever, is the now. We can gain experience from the past, but we can't relive it; and we can hope for the future, but we don't know if there is one.

Time past was nothing, no matter how long. Time ahead was everything, no matter how brief.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift that's why we call it the present.

For the Present is the point at which time touches eternity.
